Why did I choose Associate in Computer Science:
Comp. Science was in demand that time so everybody wanted to enroll in that course and the computer industry was growing here were I live.
About my college education:
I learned everything their is to know about computers then. I learned to analyze things to make it more easy. math was always difficult for me but still managed to pass. the exams was not all easy nor was it difficult.
patience and perseverance is needed to pass the course.
My current job:
I'm an accounting clerk at the hospital. I input all information about the hospitals personnel in the accounting systems.
Am I using what I learned in college:
I learned to mingle with different kinds of people, and being patient in the office for having lots of work loads.
How long did it take to find a job:
It took me 5 years to have a job because I also enrolled in some short term/vocation courses before applying for a job.
Do I recommend studying Associate in Computer Science:
With an associate degree you can still have employment opportunities, depending on the company. But if you pursued a bachelors degree in comp. science, that would be great for employment opportunities.
As for earnings you shouldn't expect a lot if your a fresh graduate, for experienced you could.
Advice to people who are thinking of studying this course:
You need to love the course.
A little background in computer will be a plus.
You to be diligent in doing research cause not all is teach in school.
